
I’ve been a big fan of Judith Orloff for some time now; since I first read, Positive Energy, and partook of Judith’s amazing ability to blend science with spirituality.
Dr. Orloff’s latest book, Emotional Freedom; liberate yourself from negative emotions and transform your life, is another truly original and outstanding book.
I could not put it down.
A clinical professor of Psychiatry at UCLA, Dr. Orloff is taking neurology to the next level, integrating science with spiritual and intuitive energies; transforming our ability to heal and ultimately discover internal peace.
Whether you are in an emotionally great place and wanting to deepen your life experiences or whether you are in a state of stress, anxiety, depression, anger, (or any number of negative emotions), you will find new ideas, new insights, and new approaches to heal your spirit and live in a state of love.
For example… you will discover your “emotional type,” learn how to cope with criticism, quiet fear, build patience, overcome jealousy and envy, manage loneliness, reprogram depression, and this is just the beginning. Virtually every negative emotion that plagues our lives can be transformed and released, literally eliminated from our experience.
Judith shows us how. One of my favorite tips, (or dozens), in Emotional Freedom is Dr. Orloff’s, Seven Rules for Compassionate Communication. If everyone in the world could utilize this one little Action Step, I am quite certain our world would be a different place. I really enjoy clear and simple techniques that can make huge differences in our lives. Emotional Freedom is filled with them.
In the final pages, Dr. Orloff writes, “My fondest wish is that this book ignites an excitement in you about this experience, that I’ve inspired you to rebel against whatever opposes love.” (p 376). Well, Judith, you have definitely inspired me and ignited an excitement in my life.

Your review is wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I have read pieces of the book but am just starting to read it cover to cover and you've motivated me to move it to the top of the pile and to start reading it tonight.
