Have you ever counted all the self-help books on the shelves of a book store? Or noticed the numbers of audio programs available to help with any problem? How about all the books on religion? Psychic healing or wellness?
We live in a day when there are virtually unlimited sources to teach us how to have a better life.
We could spend hundreds of lifetimes trying to learn all the knowledge that is available to help us have a better life.
Not to discount any of the amazing ideas, beliefs, programs, and techniques available, there is one absolutely, positively, 100% guaranteed way to improve your life. It is free and anyone, anywhere can do it.
And... we all know it.
We have heard it since we were children. It is a law of the universe that can't be denied.
Here is it.
As you sow, so shall ye reap.
Put another way... if you want to improve your life, sow more seeds of goodness.
If you want to be happier, sow more seeds of happiness.
Simple, I know. But powerful and true.
While we are just beginning to understand the working of our universe, this law of the harvest does seem to be true.
What you give out you get back.
To put this in modern day application...
Your life is a reflection of the seeds you have sown or the actions and behaviors in which you have engaged.
If you want a better, more fulfilling, happier life, sow more seeds that bring happiness and fullment.
If you want your children to improve their behavior, sow more seeds of good parenting.
If you want your relationship to be healthier, sow more healthy marriage seeds.
If you want people to be more friendly, sow more friendly seeds.
You get the picture.
Do you want to see if this law is true? Here is a way for you to prove that the law of the harvest will work for you:
Take one day, (today is a good one), and see how many goodness seeds you can sow. At the end of the day, look back and see how you feel.
Now of course some seeds take longer to bloom than others, and not every seed is going to all of a sudden burst forth into a huge tree, still, you will reap the rewards of your seeds by the end of the day. And it will be only the beginning.
What kind of seeds can you plant?
How about a bunch of smile seeds? A phone call to a loved one? Maybe words of kindness to the store clerk? How about some words of gratitude to your children? Or a bit of extra gentleness to your beloved?
I bet you could easily sow a hundred seeds in one day if you put your mind to it.
Whatever needs improving in your life, find some seeds to sow and you will be surprised at how quickly your life starts improving!
With love and peace,
jennifer

Absolutely perfectly said. We do get lost in the attempt to *find* what works.
It's best if we just *be*. One of my favorite sayings:
"Be the change you want to see in the world." - Mahatma Ghandi
And so it is.
Love and Light beautiful friend!
Monica
Wow! Isn't it wonderful how simple truth is! Great post.
Lovely Jen.
And how about my favorite: possibility seeds. Give the people you meet the room, the possibility to be different than you think they are. Give everyone an unlimited world of possibility to grow and change into.
Joel
YES...the power we need to alter any condition is in our hand - always available. It may seem exremely small, but as it multiplies - things change. THANK YOU Jennifer.
Well said. The message you are sending to the universe when you give to others is, "I have an abundant supply of this." Like attracts like, so the universe responds by bringing you more of it. The law of attraction operates in direct proportion to your purity of intent. You will only receive more of what you give away if you offer it with caring detachment, a loving heart, and no expectations.

You are an idealistic fool. What you express works only for those human adults fortunate enough to be treated with some respect at least somewhere along the way. For millions of kind, caring, intelligent, and gentle boys, that is simply NOT -- NOT the truth or reality of life today.
When I was being savaged by boy bullies encouraged and supported by legions of little girls, just WHAT was it that I had done or thought, to reap such torture, every day for years on end? Where where the corresponding 'seeds of hate' planted...before I was born?!
Do you even have an iota of a perception of the horrible truth for intelligent, gentle, caring boys, in every school across the United States?
We are assaulted, denigrated, taunted by girls, spit upon, and told that we are "attention deficit" and have mind-altering drugs shoved into us, when this savage treatment affects our minds with the inadequate time allowed for recovery (that is, usually NONE: no time from recess and the beat-down in front of gum-snapping, laughing girls who heartily approve such bullying).
Then, we find that the VAST majority of girls prefer and are sexually aroused by the bullies. You may choose to see this as mere addled reactions on the part of me and millions of other 'mere males', but it is the sad and ugly truth.
I know that when I STILL had faith that better exists and can be found in life, if I had instead made it clear that I would 'kill' if I was crossed, then the women who: betrayed me in business partnerships; stole preciously important things from me and treated me with utter disdain in roommate situations; and used respectful propositions for introduction and dating with extreme derision and contempt, would NEVER have treated me so hatefully and savagely.
The simple sad truth, is that girls are taught that boys, men, and everything male is beneath them, and to be used as much as possible while providing a convenient dumping ground for their emotional excesses.
Hey Monica...
How are you sweetie?
Ohhh.. be the change! Absolutely!
Thanks for being an example to all of us!
XO,
Jen
Hi Mark,
Yeah, we humans tend to complicate things don't we? LOL!
Lots of love,
Jennifer
Hi Joel...
It is great to "see" you! :-)
I love the idea of "possibility seeds".
Nice!
We just never know when one of those little seeds will take root!
Hugs,
Jen
Hi Harmony,
Ohh thanks for your insight! You are so right! Even those little tiny seeds can grow and blossom!
I sometimes forget that it is not how big the seed that makes a difference!
:-)
Blessings to you Harmony,
Jennifer

Hi Eric,
An "idealist fool"? I've been called worse! LOL!
It sounds like you have had some pretty horrible experiences in this life. This human journey is sure not always an easy one.
My heart goes out to you,
Jennifer
Thank you, Jennifer! I am impressed by your legion of adoring fans!
