"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
~Einstein
Adding my own humble thoughts to those of Einstein, I would say that the most beautiful thing we can experience is love, which in many regards is an essence of the mystery.
I experience love and the mystery as one and the same; the wonder and awe we feel as we allow the emotion of love to permeate our body/mind/spirit is the mystery.... or a manifestation of the mystery.
I have the sense that love is the mystery emerging in our human form. In other words, the very creative essence of the Divine, or Source, or Mystery is expressed in the human through love.
Could there be anything more beautiful than this?
I can't imagine it.

No, there cannot be anything more beautiful then this. Imagine how wonderful it would be if everybody felt like that.
LOVE the quotation and your message. I've begun to learn to embrace all the magical things in life...hope I can continue this for all my life and never lose my zest and enthusiasm and sense of awe. MMMMMMHHHHH...
Oh you're singing my song Jen,
Loving you, Maithri
Hi Peter...
Ohhh yes, if the world could feel this wonder, if it could permeate our world...

Hi Maithri,
I just read your post about the strength of love...
Yes, I think we see the world in the same way!

hi jen,
i hope that all is well and judging from the latest posting---this is one train all should be on
i thank you
Great post and blog.
You don't seem to be "religious" (which is a good thing. But you are definitely 'spiritual.' I just read an article ( I think it was in "Christianity Today") that said 'even though church attendance is steadily declining, the seach for spiritual significance is on the rise."
I'm a pastor and love reaching spiritual seekers with the hope and love of God, but I'm not too thrilled with 'religious people.'
Hey Jennifer, if it's not too much trouble can I ask you something?
I'm frustrated with my blog. It's about half as old as yours but nowhere near the authority. As a pastor of a large church, I have close to 800 readers a day on my blog, but still have a very low authority on Technorati. I want people to see this beyond North Carolina, but I guess I don't know how to get people to link and that seems to be the issue. I mean, I’ve learned that this is because I don’t have enough links to my blog site.
Why does this matter? Because I want to start reaching out to people beyond just the church, and to do that I need to get this blog up higher on the search engines.
I was wondering if you would be willing to put in a link exchange with me at www.robsingleton.net. If so, please send me an email to robtherev@gmail.com showing me where you’ve linked it and I will do the same. I know you will want to make sure we are on the up and up, so please check out our church, www.southbrookchurch.com and my blog to see if you would be comfortable with doing this. I've seen enough and know that I am. I usually do mine on a blogroll or a biweekly article called, "Cool Links."
Look forward to hearing from you!
Pastor Rob Singleton
Hi Derick...
I'm very well thank you... in the middle of a big project and falling behind on my cyber fun!
Other than that... (smile)
Wishing you a great day my friend,
jen
Hi Jennifer,
There are many beautiful and wonderful things to experience in life. It is up to individual to take up all the opportunities to learn and grow. I agree with you that love and mystery are beautiful things to experience.
